Moses Tyler (parents not known with certainty) was born during 1778 in the Edisto District of South Carolina. He first married Elizabeth Hickman, probably in South Carolina, before 1798; then Elizabeth McCloud 9 Sep 1824 in Lawrence County, MS; and finally Mrs Hester Ann Smith (nee Warren)19 Jun 1855 in Bastrop County, TX. Moses died 6 May 1861 in Burleson County, Texas.
Children of Moses Tyler and Elizabeth Hickman were: Henry Clay Tyler (1805 - 12 May 1876); Allen Tyler (1807 - ?); DemariusTyler (1810 - ?); Aaron Tyler (1812 - 8 Jan 1840); William Riley Tyler (1816 - ?); John Robert Tyler (about 1818 - 9 Jan 1862); and Reuben Tyler (about 1836 - ?).
Children of Moses Tyler and Elizabeth McCloud were: Joseph Anderson Tyler (about 1829 - before 1891); Female Tyler (about 1836 - about 1840).
There were no children as a result of the Moses Tyler - Hester Ann (Warren) Smith marriage.
