Porter born about 1860, and Mertie Irene Porter born 1871 in Ohio and died during 1923 in Oklahoma. William Porter is shown on the 1860 census of Fountain County, Indiana with occupation as "cooper". William married Eunice during August 1853 in Dearborn County, Indiana and applied for divorce while living in Clinton County, Indiana during 1855.
